Time To Catch The M Train?

CS1322 has me really considering the M Train. My teacher just plain sucks. Breakout is a completely useless two hour exercise spitting out the same thing the book does about Java’s sucky GUI (Cross platform my ass btw). The homework doesn’t really have any cool problems either, which is probably why everyone works as “collaboratively” as they do. Last semester, I’d actually start on CS homework early that had interesting problems, this semester it’s all done fairly late. This is where the difference between professors and instructors becomes so apparent. If my CS teacher (in this case, a professor) actually was even the least bit interested in what he was teaching, it probably wouldn’t suck as much as it does. But he’s not, which is why we spent an entire class on if and else statements, which all but 3 people (out of 250) understood. One of my roommates, who at the moment is a CS major, is sitting on the major change form. The M Train is very tempting right now.

Oh and I just realized, I’ve had a website for over two years now (April 13).

So I randomly stumbled somehow across your webpage, but anyways, we were in CS 1321 together last semester. I went to Lassiter, and always felt uncomfortable in recitation cause nobody would laugh at funny stuff. Anywho, whichever class is the next one for CS majors, I know my friend switched to INTA after she took it. And the other super shitty class is the one they changed last semester. I think it was cs 2335? But since they changed the curriculum around for that class, I heard it’s supposed to be a lot easier. I remember my friend used to tell me horror stories of how people would just start crying in the lab section. But I think that’s pretty much the crappiest part that’s left. Well, besides the normal shaft-tastic place that Tech is. Hope my vague information helps out some! =)
