Busy Day In The Computer World

WordPress 1.5 is out, no more nightlies for me.
SHA1 appears to have been broken - SHA1 is used as part of just about everything, it’s used to create hashes (Secure Hashing Algorithm) that are used to create a number of things - encryption keys, file integrity hashes, digital signatures, etc. The vulnerability is not as bad as using WEP, but it’s time to migrate to one of the stronger SHAs (SHA256 or SHA512).
Windows users WILL be seeing an update to Internet Explorer before Longhorn - but will we see full, working CSS 2.1 support? They’re only five years or so behind everyone else.
My GT1000 class has me spending all this time doing homework - it’s a friggin one hour course, wake the hell up lady.
