Thoughts Of Your Future Dictator

I’ve got a pretty decent schedule this semester, although that two hour, late Tuesday night breakout could be shorter. I’ve got the same Calculus professor and TA this semester for Round 2 of Calc One. The good news is that the format of the class has changed- we’ve got 6 quizes (vs 3 tests), a group project (none last semester), and the final (same as last semester). I’ve had one CS class so far and we’re going to be doing a lot with GUIs from what my teacher had told us. My English professor seems interesting as he gave us “commandments” for writing papers. I have a feeling that Health (HPS) is going to take these key points:

1. Smoking is bad
2. Unprotected sex is bad
3. Alocohol is bad
4. Drugs are bad, mmmmmmk?
5. Being fat is bad
6. Exercise GOOD!

Of course this wouldn’t be a college course without lots of useless additional information like how some no name disease that I have a .01% chance of getting will affect my knee cap. At least the teacher seems nice.

I’ve discovered a small (in my opinion) issue with my site and Internet Exploder. The page only renders the background color, nothing else. It works in Safari and the front page works in Firefox. I’m having issues with individual archive pages though on Firefox. What’s odd is that the markup and CSS is valid. I’ll investigate this more later.

I picked up some really cool posters for the room. I got two Family Guy posters- The family photo poster and a Stewie “Go To Hell” poster. I also got The Matrix poster. I’ve just got to figure a way to put them up, tape didn’t work out.
