Tomorrow finals start (but with regular classes). It’s review packet and free time in most of my classes at this point. Hopefully, we’ll end up with 3 XBoxes (with controllers) in APCS. I’m gonna end up with A’s and B’s (that math grade WILL become a B). That’s the good news, the bad news is that the storm on Sunday blew out my Tivo’s ethernet adapter and I had to order a new one. It should come in today. It sucks not being able to schedule recordings on the web
. School is going by sooo slow
I can’t wait to move on!

So I watched The Hulk today. I definitely have mixed feelings and can’t decide if I really liked it or not. I liked the story, plot, characters, etc. but it was incredibly slow and they overdid the special effects in some areas (not really in the action scenes though oddly enough). The ending was a bit unexpected, which I found lacking (oddly too, since I usually enjoy unexpected endings). I’d probably give it a B or B-. In other news, I got my voter registration card in the mail today. I’ll have to update it once I move to Tech. I’ll update the info, but won’t waste my time voting unless they add a paper trail to the system. California has banned the use of the Diebold voting machines after massive issues with votes not being counted and votes counted for the wrong person… lots of stuff that invokes tons of faith. Every week Slashdot brings more news of flaws and problems with the machines. And the fact that my choices don’t appeal to me doesn’t make me want to go out and vote. I also just found out that I’ll be on East campus, which apparently in contradiction to my dad’s research is the party side. This should be interesting.
Go here and laugh until you cry. It’s the funniest parody I’ve ever seen. Jacob and Joe agree (and so does Adam).
Well, I don’t think I did too bad. It was mostly what I expected, but the questions took more time to work through than I had anticipated. I’m looking a 3, maybe a 4. The good news is that it doesn’t really matter, since I’m not using it for credit. I want as (relatively) easy a first semester possible at Tech. And now…. Halo for the next week. ![]()
I feel totally devoid of energy. One long AP test, work, and late night driving. Of course, nothing compares to my experience with my brother driving me home. He does all the stuff he criticizes me for. Every once and awhile he’ll scream about one hand on the steering wheel, the only difference between him and I is that he drives one handed ALL THE FREAKING TIME. Stupid hypocrite, oh yeah, I guess everyone knows that with his rhetoric. It’s always great at work converting someone from the hellish PC world to the joy of OS X. Beat that Zollo, how many Mac-PC converts have you dealt with?
Nowhere near as many people as I have PC-Mac.
I’ve determined a proper vehicle naming scheme:
G35 = My weekend car
Monte Carlo = My weekday car ![]()
