So when I need to buy something, I usually use Amazon. So I was buying a case for my new camera. The cheapest result was thru one of their affiliates Office Depot. I went there earlier (Physical store) but they only had ONE case in :(. Amazon sold it for like three dollars more, but after $10 in shipping with Office Depot Amazon turns out to be a few dollars cheaper (cheaper shipping). One of the cool things Amazon does, even if it really is a sales pitch, is free shipping on most orders over $25. At $13 ($18 with shipping), I don’t qualify :(. But I hate spending that money on shipping when I can spend a few more dollars and get a DVD or book. The way it works out for me, I add a DVD (in tonite’s case, Clerks) that costs $17. The camera case plus Clerks adds up to $28. Compared to getting the case and shipping, I really only spent about $10 on Clerks ):. Interesting eh?

School, then math tutor, then open house. I didn’t have any real time “free” until about 10. But even then, I had HW and studying to do. Me so tired.

Almost done. I had to turn a councilor recommendation form for UGA, which kinda surprised me. Since I dunno how much my councilor is gonna know about my habits, etc. Whatever. Also got transcripts sent off to UGA & Southern Poly. Now all that is left for UGA is the essay and teacher recommendation. I think I’ll ask Ms. Phillips, I got the highest average award in her class :). Oh yeah, in my Webpage Design and Maintenance class, I have the ominous feeling we’ll be using tables :o
For a Ben Affleck movie, Paycheck was quite good. I always enjoys movies that deal with time, as it can leave the ending rather open ended. Uma Therman also played a very believable part. For some reason, it reminded me of her role in Kill Bill, which I preordered last week. The action scenes weren’t took fake, but at the same time, real enough that you could kinda believe them. I’m really glad I stayed after I started feeling bad. It’s definitely a high B, low a movie.

Justin Bellmor: General manager of Microsoft’s Windows digital media division David Fester has suggested that iTunes’ emerging dominance would be bad for consumers, because it would limit them to the iPod. He told journalists at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas: “Windows is about choice - you can mix and match software and music player stuff. We believe you should have the same choice when it comes to music services.”
Justin Bellmor: Windows is about choice
Jacob Goecks: *blinks*
Jacob Goecks: I…I’m speechless.
Jacob Goecks: I don’t even know what to say…
Jacob Goecks: I…wow….
Jacob Goecks: just sigh….
Justin Bellmor: http://www.neowin.net/comments.php?id=16556 , there’s a forum of pro windows people laughing about it
Jacob Goecks: I…wow…I dunno I’m laughign too
Jacob Goecks: that guy should be shot.
Justin Bellmor: yeah I know
Jacob Goecks: choice nothing.
Windows is about choice…. oh the irony.
Wow. The weekend just flew by. Pictures [Dead Link]. And Sunday, well some work and a nice drive on 400 in the G35. I’ve gotten the car to its highest speed so far, no comment ;):. The car is really nice, with a few exceptions. Like the car doesn’t know the two sets of keys apart, so there are no driver preferences. The passenger seat also doesn’t remember where it was when it comes back after letting someone in the back. Still, a really nice car. All that I have to do now is my UGA essay and I’m done with that. Then onto Southern Poly :?.
My dad’s new G35 came in today :). It’s amazing. I even got to DRIVE it. I went over to Tart’s and repo’d my Family Guy DVDs and went to pick up my brother at a friend’s house. Of course, I did take the long way whenever possible ;). I’ll have some pictures tomorrow. Oh yeah, got new glasses. I read better now.
Thank God… I need a break.
