Awesome day. Family went out to my uncle’s new place. My cousins, my brother, and I went to Applebee’s for Lunch/Dinner and then went to Best Buy. Clay bought the hilarious Family Guy series DVD (Two Volumes) for about $85. I was tempted to buy it myself, but as my mom describes my spending habits, I was Scrooge. After we watched parts from two episodes I really wished I had. Then we proceeded to screen Revolutions, but only got halfway thru before we had to start the trip home. Tons of fun as usual with my cousins. And I just checked Amazon, I can get exactly what my cousin got for about $60. I’m VERY tempted to buy it know. I could even use my debit card. I just ship it to the office and get it when it gets here (free shipping). But I just hate spending money. Ughhh… I feel so conflicted between spending money and enjoying myself. Christmas is coming so I’ll be ordering stuff online regardless, maybe spending some money for the holidays will improve my Scrooge spending mentality. We get Tivo tomorrow!

Interesting, almost funny article at The Economist on Money and Islam that basically says everything is all about semantics. Interest is basically against the Koran, so banks don’t do interest, they do “profit.”

Spent about 2 or 3 hours and moved Zollonet off of this *thing* called Newspro. It is completely text based, no images, etc. I thought Coranto was bad, Coranto kicks butt compared to that thing. We made it so that everything (short of comments and trackback, which we have not yet added) has the same appearance as before. Joe also says that he plans to overhaul JZ.com with stylesheets, I know where this going :). Congrats to Joe on not posting in over 150 days! This will make things much easier, like XML-RPC posting- Using an application to post, like what I use: Kung-Log.

I can’t stand emo. My brother listens to nothing but that crap in the car. It sucks! Every song has the same feel. They just change little things in the “music.” And holy crap! they do nothing but cry and scream about love. It’s the SAME THING EVERY TIME! Just buy/pirate ONE song and it’s the same thing as owning ALL of that crappy music! < /Rant>
Revolutions was good. The movie simplified into Jesus vs. Antichrist or as Nate put it “christian symbols abound.” Good movie overall. Jacob’s party was a lot of fun. Katie’s friends enjoyed one of her gifts too much tho….
