Today was great. Didn’t do much. Learned some stuff in math. Tomorrow, I finish everything for Georgia Tech and me and my dad are going to hand deliver it. Good times. Oh yeah, I finally drove off with Kennedy before my brother got to the car. Making him work for his ride. Priceless. Great times.
It’s been a busy weekend, but hey, things gotta get done. I’m getting really fed up with these stupid Lit Prompts, the last set I did was specifically targeted for the Junior Writing Exam. *Checks*…. Not a junior…. how stupid. I just wrote what I thought was 500 words (6 paragraphs) and skipped the word count, since I didn’t do it on the computer and copy it this time. Only one or two more paragraphs for my Georgia Tech essay. I think it’ll turn out really good, I’ve spent a lot of time on it. My dad wants me to do a DVD for the thing. I think it’s stupid, their system doesn’t account for outside-the-box thinking. It merely accounts for statistical information and an essay. The only way that I can think of how it will help me is in the essay points, but that is only for the essay… right? I’ll probably get yelled at since I have to get this done by Wednesday and my dad wants me to do ten other things for him right now. I’m going to deliver it personally, hopefully it will be put into the hands of someone who can affect my grade, my luck it will get dropped into some idiot’s hands and get lost. I hope I get accepted into Tech early, that would rock since I don’t want to deal with fifty applications in January. I just have to keep my grades up (knock on wood… math and physics). I currently have only one symptom of Senioritis, want-to-go-home-nowism, so I seem to be safe. Special Note To Joe: I have a laptop, so do you, but mine kicks your laptop’s arse. Oh yeah, I got a better, cookie-saving version of the theme switcher. I’ve cut it down to the themes that I like and work well with my content, I’ll add some once I create/find some I like. I also need to change the blog’s description, since Jacob, George, Joe, and Capo never post here anymore. Any ideas?
Spent 12 hours moving $1 million in computers. Fun stuff. I’m so freaking sore though. At least I get soothing relief tomorrow, in the form of a Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse, I only really care for the keyboard. I’m just not fond of 1 button mice (for some crazy reason I guess). My keyboard or screen is out of whack on my laptop, my screen has blemishes (inside of the LCD, not on the glass). So that will be gone for three days, I just gotta choose when. I think it will be next Monday. Now, I need to rest.
Read this (Free registration req). Excuse me, but how does a CORPORATION have the RIGHT to IMPOSE its views on me in SCHOOL? I have things to learn, not morals to be imposed on me by evil itself.
So I installed Panther on my new laptop, it rocks. I’m almost done with my Georgia Tech Essay, I’ve been changing the wording to make it sound more sophisticated (while in some areas, simpler). That’s been what I’ve been up to lately. I’m NOT looking forward to the 3 500 word handwritten essays I have to write tomorrow.
I hate that feeling when you wake up in the middle of the night and feel weird. After having a bout with that stomach bug last year, I knew exactly what I felt. And I even knew what was coming, in an all to eerie way. 20 minutes later, my actions confirmed my first thoughts…… *pukes*. Sigh, my iPod brings me comforting tunes, and that makes me feel better.
I should be writing my Georgia Tech essay, but I’m not sure what I want to write about/make up. Hmmmmm….. Xenocide (the book) is much more interesting anyways.
This day went really bad, until I booted up my new 15 inch Aluminum PowerBook. Illuminated Keyboard is freaking awesome (Illuminates in darkness, as well as dims display). Having everything built-in is awesome too. Yeah. I’m dig’n this.

Come to me my precious. I’ve even got Saturday Delivery. Precious……
It’s been a while since I’ve done any enjoyment reading. The last book I read for my own enjoyment was Ender’s Game (after reading Ender’s Shadow for my choice summer reading last summer). I just found out that there are FIVE other books in the series. Time to do some more enjoyment reading.
Speaker for the Dead
Xenocide
Children of the Mind
Shadow of the Hegemon
Shadow Puppets
Those are the book I plan on reading soon. I’ll go thru and read them in that order too. My mom has been unhappy today. I guess she hates being 50. She’s all hormonal about it too. Sucks.
