Not much else to do. Got Warcraft 3: Frozen Throne and Final Cut Express today. FT is nice. Faster too. I only played as orc in an instant action game that I’ve yet to finish. I heard bnet got Clan support. We are the ClanMacWin32Whore as soon as I get my lazy butt up and create one, somehow….

So we finished Health today. My teacher liked my Keynote presentation so much that she asked me to send them to her. Nothing Zollo ever did would get that attention, but that’s because he can’t really create on an OS that can’t innovate. So after we took the Health Final at Sprayberry online, I got my A in the class. After the final, I took Z over to Tart’s house to play video games. There were 4 of us (plus Tart’s mom, sister, and Jessie): Adam, Zollo, Shilito, Me. I’ve met Shilito in the past, but didn’t get to know him really well. He’s cool, a video game god (except Halo -> Owned) and techno freak. So we played games and snacked for a few hours before we went to see Pirates of the Caribbean (I rate it a C - too predictable). We missed the 28 Day Later showing near the mall (which I’ve seen and didn’t really care to see again). I’ve also got this 12″ PowerBook. It beats nothing, but the screen is just too small for me. The idiots who had it before re-calibrated the thing so many times that the max charge is 71%. Dumasses, I know why they did it too: if the charge is not under 95% it won’t charge because it hurts the physical life of the battery. So they tried re-calibrating the thing too many times thinking it would “fix” it. No biggie for me tho, a laptop beats no laptop (except a Windows Xerox Edition laptop). And the problem my brother was having ended up being the monitor. So he gets to take my 15″ LCD (Second display) which I love for when I’m using AIM or typing. I hope it gets fixed soon or he gets my 17″ permanently while I get a 20″ Studio Display.
This day was going really well until I got this 12″ PowerBook. My brother wants one to replace his G4 Cube. The problem here is, is that he doesn’t need a new one at all. He does iChat (AIM) and Internet. Plus the occasional game. In fact, games are the only thing he needs a new computer for and a 12″ PowerBook won’t improve his games much/at all. Removed due to new evidence.
My cruise is coming up. I’m looking forward to the cruise part of the trip. Hopefully I’ll have net access to post pictures to the blog and make you drool. But wait? How would I post pictures to the blog without using my .mac account? I’m getting hosted. If hosting works out, I’ll be dropping my .mac account and just use bellmor.com to do everything. Unfortunately, they don’t accept Amex, so I wasn’t able to do it last night. And they’re merchant for dealing with CCs is down today :-(. So I’ll have to get it done later. This week is shaping up to be really good, sans a few little things I have to get done. Well, back to tac ops (UT Mod). Oh yeah, I had to give back the 17″ PowerBook on loan to me :-(. Life sucks without a laptop. Hopefully new ones will be released this week in the screen size (15″) that I want with all the new generation stuff :-). We’ll see.
Well, today’s been a rather boring day. I haven’t done much. I would’ve suggested going to see a movie, but mikey had to work and the rest of the people that we go with went and saw it yesterday. oh well. No big deal. I’ve been managing to keep myself occupied by playing some of the new Unreal Tournament 2003 mods. Yes, that’s right another one came out today called “Face - Off” This mod looks promising. It’s not too shabby considering the entire mod was done by one guy. It’s pretty much a special-ops vs. terrorist mod, but it just seems reall fun for some reason. I sure hope this guy continues this mod so we can get some new stuff to go with it. I also hope he gets a bigger team then that way, he’ll probably continue with it. Another mod I was looking forward to, was of course, Troopers. But after reading what I read last night, it doesn’t look too promising. “There’s been a disturbance in the Force” and it looks like the Battle of Endor all over again (haha bad joke I know.) Poor BK. It really sucks for him. I sure hope the mod isn’t ruined.

I went to my grandparents house today and did a lot of yardwork for them till it got really hot. Then I came home and played Contra some. I got pretty far, but I kept dying and I got mad at it so I turned it off. It’d be much better if I had another person to play it with. ah well. Then I remembered that today, the Jungle Warfare mod for UT2k3 came out today! So I went and downloaded that as well. The mod is pretty good. The weapon models look great, but the player models I think could use a little bit of work, other than that, it’s a pretty good mod. You have four different classes and fifteen different maps to play on. You have a Medic, a Scout, a Commando, and a Sniper. I can’t wait till July 12th because that’s when another mod called “Face-Off” comes out. I dunno how good that’ll be. Then on July 14th, the Troopers mod comes out. It’s about time we started getting some UT2k3 mods. The next big one im looking forward to is of course “Red Orchestra” and “Path to Victory.” I then also found out today that a new map for Battlefield 1942 was released today. The Battle of Britain map. That map is fun, except you have to know how to fly a plane rather well considering that it’s mostly air combat. Not much for ground infantry on that map, unless you man the guns, which are scattered about on the map. It plays a bit differently than most conquest maps where instead of taking over points, the Axis have to destroy the four radar towers, and a weapons factory. The British just have to hold out and wait for the Axis tickets to reach zero. I thought of a pretty nifty way to help the British win on that map. You get in a plane and you fly over to the island where the Axis base is (You should do this with at least two people, which would requrie to to take two spitfire’s since they can only hold one person each) then bail out of the plane and parachute to safety. Meet up with the other person/persons, then go and steal one of the bombers, have one person fly and the other person/persons man the guns and just fly around destroying the other bombers and any of the other fighters that the Axis have commandeered. Let me see here. I did some AV chats today. The feedback needs to go away, then it will be perfect. More webhosting research. Z’s host looks like it’s gonna be the one. I’m working more this week, but that means more $. I’m putting it away for college or whatever. If I was like my brother, I would have upgraded my G5 order to dual 2ghz and a Radeon 9800 card. But I’m not :-)/:-(. I’m looking forward to the sound system that I’ll have (the best in the house too). Well, I’m out. Oh yeah, my cousin is coming up tomorrow, so we’ll go do stuff. Movie madness I’m sure.
