I beat it with Niobi. It was a simple game. The graphics were good in some areas and sucked pretty bad in others. The last mission was gay. Luckily, the Revolutions trailer was good. I’ve seen it in crappy quality on the net, but the big image (27″ TV) was much better. I’m looking forward to Revolutions. It will answer a ton of questions that everybody has. Oh well. G is having sound codec issues. And if you’re an IE user (that includes CrazyBrowser) and can actually see this check this out.

The Pianist.
Two great movies in two days? What in the world? The Pianist was really really good. Definitely deserves the awards it won. Wow, I really don’t have a whole lot to say. Watch it. Watch both this AND 25th Hour.
If you tried to visit the blog after 12AM last night and it was down, it was because me and Darth pulled an unsuccessful all nighter trying to get mod_gzip implemented. It would have a huge impact on loadtimes. We’re going to try again later today, after we sleep. And Darth Zollo, many many many many many thanks. Feel free to try stuff out Zollo, I’ve left our best little friend that we want to strange the life out of open ;-).
I found this in the httpd.conf document:
AddEncoding x-compress Z
AddEncoding x-gzip gz tgz
Don’t we feel sooo stupid now?
Update: What this means folks is that all along, if your browser has supported gzip compression, El Blogo loads faster than normal. And Firebird does gzip deflation.
And IE should be burning in the garbage can, but wait! Your OS is built around it. So we lost compatibility with IE today with the new theme. It worked fine for my XP IE 6 Sp1 in VirtualPC, but G and Darth said it wasn’t rendering correctly. I’ve taken the stance that because M$ isn’t standards compliant enough to allow simple things to work, I shouldn’t put effort into making M$ happy. I’ll be posting later today… Post 100.
We need to know so the Zollo Murder Service can whack you. Since you’re a little reject. In other news, this is POST 100. YEAH! I played with the blog some more and fixed some issues by removing two outdated lines of code. I dunno if it fixes the code for on IE 6, but it fixed it in Mac IE. I also updated the “You’re using a browser we rejected!” thing alerting IE users. Much spiffier. And the dentist’s office that was going to rip out one of my teeth didn’t call. So I might not get it done until after we go back to school! Joy / Pain.
Looks like we were bored yesterday. Lets summarize my yesterday:
Woke up @ 11:30
Ate
Dad came home and tells me to get the oil changed, car washed, and drop off clothes at the cleaners (the last time he told me that, he meant the alterations place for some reason).
It took forever at the car wash.
Came home
Slept until it was dinner time
Dinner
TV
Watched part (CD 1/3) of the Episode II SVCD that I got from Tart, who got it from Darth Z.
And now it’s now, time to sleep before the drugs are bad, alcohol is bad, and dieting / exercise is good Health Online face-to-face class today. Blah
We’re now using the newly released Movable Type 2.64 update. It also fixed the problem Internet Exploder freaks had with scrolling. I haven’t tested to see if it just works or if I need to play with the templates from the new defaults. Post in the comments if it works.
Science proves it’s right.
