Bad Karma

Zollo = Bad Karma

My iPod Zollo, Not Yours!

I broke down and ordered a new iPod today. They released new ones in 10, 15, 30 GB flavors. They’re about half as thick as my first generation iPod. They’re so much cooler. I got the 15GB one, because once you add the case and dock, it adds $80 to the price of the 10GB (without this stuff) making it $20 cheaper than the 15GB one (With this stuff). I’ll have it by Friday afternoon.

There’s a music service out too, I’ll give it a try. It’s really neat from what I’ve seen playing with it.

Edit: Once you add the remote, I SAVE $20 :-). Now if my dad would just get home, I could play with the music service.

More sleeping in next year

Dear Professional Educators,
After much deliberation (3 years), the school leadership team, with your input, decided to eliminate exam exemptions; however, we would like to develop a rationale for doing so and address concerns voiced by those who wanted to keep exemptions. Thanks to Catherine Sinon’s help, we have a rough draft for the rationale/concerns, but we would like your feedback as well. We would also like your ideas for incentives for prompt attendance to school AND class, OR you may suggest consequences for excessive absences/tardies. Just send those ideas in by Wednesday, April 30 at midnight, and we will discuss them at the 8:15 meeting Thursday morning.
Thank you!!
Judy

Someone sent that to me. It is authentic. So what reason do I have to show up to school on boring/useless days now? None. It’s definitely time for a new Justin’s Attendance Policy. Rant in the comments (since no one will be raving). And get a load outta this, they’re eliminating exemptions, but they don’t know why and want teachers to tell them why. They’re SOOOO intelligent.

Hard Rain

Drove home in it. Wow, that was the slowest I’ve ever driven in a car. I’m just glad I was in my dad’s newer car. Was that just me or was it raining like really hard? Did you see the highway, northbound was flooded!?

Friday!

Chigga Yeah! No more school for TWO WHOLE DAYS! And my cuzin is comming in soon and we will have some fun. And tommorow I can drive other people in my car, thus making my parents not too happyo. Oh and file sharing apps do not infringe on the pigopolists copyrights, read here. Chigga!

Über Blah

So I’m feeling better now. I’m just running on 3 hours of sleep and have been up since 2 AM. School was soooooo much fun. I mean, my hand couldn’t just wait to write. So I get this US History test and my hand just wanted to stop after writting my name down. And I am also über happy, Crazy G cancelled my lab writeup! Chigga Yeah! And I think I’m about to go all voodoo on the mail server portion of my server. I can’t get the f*ing thing to understand how to accept @bellmor.com instead of @mail.bellmor.com, stupid POS! WORK! Me and Darth have tried every DNS setting we can think of to no avail. I’ve tried at least 30 settings on the server. I know for a fact that the DNS settings are setup correctly, so the problem is on the server side. And yes, I’ve read the manual… many many times.

This is from Tart’s Blog. This thing is pretty dumb…

Mega Blah!

Day 2 of feeling like crapo. Didn’t sleep at all or much last night, so when I finally fell asleep at about 8AM, it was a nice 6 hour nap that I really needed. I will be in school tommorow one way or another. I must exempt Chem and US History (?). Back to resting.

Update: I’m getting worse, just got finished hugging the toilet (Blarf). DNS is being odd (we played with some stuff last night). All should be fine soon. Back to bed.

Paladium Early Adopter

Sounds like the Cobb County Communists are part Microshaft’s Paladium Beta Testers program. [Dead Link] you can easily tell they want to remove any freedom students may have enjoyed prior to this “update” of sorts. What’s next, you may be monitored (they can watch what you do from another computer) without warning. Or the programming students, is there source code theirs or can the communists just steal it? Based on the way that I read it, nothing we do is ours, it’s theirs. I outta make some large file that attracts their attention that has a liscense agreement with a term that requires them to forfeit all privacy to their email accounts. Lets see how the evil CCC likes that!

Blah

I feel Blah. First Period Bell, later.

Edit: Double Blah. Felt even more blah and went home sick. I had a nice three hour nap and feel a bit better.

Edit 2: When it rains it pours. Feel better Taryn

Minor Updates

Justin has found a few of the more minor glitches in the DNS and has masked some more of the little things, in specific the Search and Comment areas no longer display the Server’s IP. Major thumbs up to him, I hadn’t even noticed they still did it.

Apparently we’ve lost a post, not that it was anything big, personally I think Darth Zollo hacked the server and removed it as well as his footprints, but there’s no evidence of it being removed or anything, so it’s possible that I’m just crazy and don’t have a clue as to what’s going on an imagined the post staying…who knows. If this happens again though, we’ll really start looking into it.

More feedback on the site would be nice, and maybe some helpful hints, like implementing some sort of server-side hitcounter so we could see how many bored people traipse across our little bit of Webspace in a day and how worthwhile this actually is.

In other news, Justin ~DOES~ like females, Zollo still doesn’t know the meaning of the word relax, and most of all, I’m still trying to figure out where the world went wrong.
